@talentryto- My brother works on cars for a hobby, but he never knows what make or model he will be working on next. Since he doesn't have the money to buy an entire library of auto mechanic books, he simply borrows them from his local library.

Most libraries carry a wide range of books on cars, from how to maintain them to how to repair them. If the library you go to doesn't have the exact type of book you are looking for, chances are the staff can order it from another library so you can use it to repair your car.
