There are many manufacturers of green tea tablets in the nutritional supplement industry, and some of these businesses have better reputations than others. Consulting the product information on the packaging of green tea tablets can often inform you which green tea products are designed for a particular health benefits. A better option may be seeking a professional nutritionist or herbalist who has the training and expertise necessary to help you choose the perfect green tea tablets for you.

Qualified nutritionists and herbalists can be found in most organic grocery stores and nutritional supplement shops. Further product information regarding green tea supplements can be found by visiting online retailers that offer positive and negative reviews of the many different green tea products that are available. The health benefits of green tea have been known for generations, but there is a wide range of green tea tablets on the market designed for different uses.

In order to narrow your choices, the first step is to decide which of the health benefits offered by green tea is most important to you. One of the most common uses for green tea is to increase the amount of antioxidants available in the human body in order to eliminate harmful free radicals. Green tea supplements have also been shown to lower your likelihood of developing certain types of cancer and nervous disorders, as well as provide relief for the symptoms of diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome and sleep apnea. The type of green tea tablets you need is often determined by which of these benefits you need the most.

There are also many green tea tablets on the market that are designed to be used as part of the green tea diet. The green tea diet allegedly helps individuals lose weight by increasing the levels of polyphenols in the body. Polyphenols allow the body to metabolize fat more efficiently and increase the speed that the body transforms calories into energy through a process called themogenesis.

Comprehensive studies have not clearly proven the effectiveness of the green tea diet, but nutritionists point to the increase in metabolism caused by green tea tablets. They say metabolism is an important part of a healthy diet aid if used with a responsible, time-tested weight loss program. Once you have a solid grasp of the primary health benefits of green tea and have read a few reviews of the leading manufactures of green tea supplements, you will be well-equipped to find the ideal green tea tablets for your needs.

@ZipLine-- Try taking them with food.

When I buy supplements, I only go with the well known, established brands. And when I buy green tea tablets, I make sure that the ingredient is green tea and nothing else. Many of the green tea weight loss supplements have other herbs along with green tea.

@ZipLine-- Oh no! Did you get all natural, organic tablets?

If not, you should try the organic tablets without additives. Other brands may have other stuff in the tablets that you don't know about. I've never gotten an upset stomach from my green tea tablets. I buy them from the organic store.

They're more expensive than regular brands, but I think it's worth it because it's better quality. When it comes to supplements, I don't mind paying more because it's about my health.

I purchased some green tea extract tablets from the pharmacy for the antioxidant benefits and took the recommended daily dose. Everything was fine for the first two days, but on the third day, I got stomach aches.

I don't know if it was the green tea extract or some other additive they put in the tablets, but I'm scared to take them again.
