Argo Park is the place for outdoor activities in Ann Arbor that includes not only hiking, but also biking, fishing and canoeing. It’s part of a riverfront chain of parks that allows easy access to other nearby parks. You can take the riverside nature trail to Bandemer Park for a forested walk and picnicking. Or, you can take the boardwalk to Riverside Island and Fuller Park. Island Park is known for its Greek revival-style picnic shelters as well as for having plenty of geese and ducks in the Park.

Hudson Mills Metro Park has excellent outdoor activities in Ann Arbor's nearby Dexter area if you're a golf lover. The Hudson Mills Metro Park is an attractive-looking public golf course known for its great greens. This popular course rents clubs as well as carts.

Buhr Park has rolling hills and plenty of room for all types of outdoor activities in Ann Arbor.
