To relax your eyes, especially after working on the computer for most of the day, rub your palms against one another to generate heat. When they feel hot, cup each palm over one eye. The heat from your palms will help relax them.

I've found there are some pretty good self-massage tools out there as well. I have some "spikey balls" that I roll on my back that feel better than a tennis ball. My favorite through is the myotool which I use for stretching or working on my trigger points. I agree with the author... there is a lot of treatment that we can do ourselves.
