@Krunchyman - Well, you have to remember that these movies are aimed at kids. Sure, there might be some things that appeal to adults as well, but sometimes it isn't the case.

However, I do agree that it's overrated. It's gotten tons of hype since its release, and when it was finally released on DVD, I decided to see what it was all about.

It was decent, but nowhere near as good as some made it out to be. Overall though, I find that to be a problem with a lot movies. You hear a lot of great things about it, and then you hype yourself up so much that those expectations are never met.

While Frozen was definitely the highest grossing animated film of 2013, honestly, I find the movie to be vastly overrated. Does anyone else feel the same way?

In reference to the third bullet point, I'm not surprised that so many Americans go the movie theater, as it's a great place to go. Sometimes, even if you don't enjoy the movie itself, one thing that can really draw you in is the theater experience itself, especially on opening weekend.

The theater is crowded, the audience is very interactive, and they give a standing ovation when the movie ends. It's moments like these that make going to the movies worthwhile.
