The Scottish beer Armageddon is believed to be the world's strongest with a 65% alcohol content. Most beers are around 4% - 8% alcohol content by volume. Armageddon beer is produced by the Brewmeister Brewery which uses a freeze fermentation method to achieve the high alcohol content. In the United States, this beer is currently unavailabe for sale in stores and can only be purchased on the brewery website.
